We also offer a comprehensive model making service machining "one off" or small batch components. We have a strong machining team with experience in many types of material and processes. Offering high speed machining giving us the ability of machining, hard metal, high detail, and finishes that can reduce the need for polishing.
Also we have our own injection moulding facilities enabling us to produce quick turn around prototype parts to production quality in the correct material. This can exponentially speed up time to market as we can work concurrently with designers to ensure the quickest route from design to manufacture.
We have gained an excellent reputation with several large pharmaceutical Companies helping to develop their medical devices by consulting on manufacturing design issues, and providing quick turn around production quality prototype injection moulded parts.

We aim to speed up the design process using concurrent and practical design methods using our vast experience in design for manufacture.
The design facility incorporates ProEngineer, Delcam PowerSHAPE, Delcam PS Mould, Delcam PS Draft, Delcam CopyCAD, Renishaw Trace and NC Graphics. Scanning of 3D models is achieved using a Renishaw Cyclone Digitiser, Parts can then be machined directly from scanned data, or converted into 3D surfaces via CopyCAD and or PowerSHAPE. Broadband is available for data transfer.
Machining and cutter path creation by various CAM systems is another service offered, with a model making facility that uses the latest computer skills alongside traditional craftwork. The CAM department is equipped with, PowerMILL, and PowerSHAPE.

The CAM room is linked via fibre optics to the CNC Machining Room and production is carried out on modern high technology machinery: that includes a Roeder RFM600 High Speed (42000 rpm) machining centre, Charmilles wire and plunge EDM a Fast Hole Burner and an ST Super Tec 2040ADC surface grinder. This high technology machinery together with our first class craftsmen enables us to give a comprehensive manufacturing service.
